Four Be's
The Agnew staff regularly recognizes and celebrates all learners for demonstrating the expected behaviors - Be Safe, Be Respectful, Be Responsible, and Be Kind.
Regular Recognitions and Celebrations
There are three (and more) opportunities our staff uses to provide students feedback and recognition - Frequent, Random, and Structured.
- Frequent feedback is provided daily and "in the moment" with classwork, on the playground, and more. This form of feedback and recognition can be verbal or written.
- Random recognition is when staff members "catch" students demonstrating positive behaviors. This can result in students receiving the Golden Tickets.
- One system of structured recognition is our school-wide monthly Eagle Awards. Students are selected by their teacher(s) who have demonstrated the lifeskill of the month.
Golden Tickets can be saved and traded in at the Golden Eagles Nest for prizes and other items or experiences.
