Student Council
The Abram Agnew Elementary School Student Council includes four officers elected at large and representatives from each classroom in grades 3, 4, and 5. The council provides a forum for student ideas/concerns and morning announcements. It also organizes and supports activities for students, for the school, and for the community.
Collaboration is at the heart of everything they do. The Student Council works closely with teachers, staff, and even community members to identify needs and develop solutions that benefit everyone. Whether it's brainstorming ideas for school spirit days, holding fundraising efforts to benefit the school, or suggesting improvements to our playground, our students learn the power of collective action and the importance of listening to diverse perspectives.
Our young leaders develop essential skills in communication, teamwork, and empathy. They learn to appreciate the unique contributions of every member of our school family and understand that by working together, we can create a truly connected and supportive community where everyone feels valued and empowered. Join us in building bridges and making Agnew Elementary the best it can be – together!
